GRAPHIC DESIGN

Graphic design is one of those words that means a lot of things. To us, it's the thoughtful layout of messaging to make the maximum impact. From logo to website to signage - it's all graphic design.

YOUR SEAL of APPROVAL

Let's talk about logos. Once you have established your product, experience, service, etc. and are happy with what is being delivered, then you can add your logo. It's important to know who you are and the experience you will deliver before creating the logo. You can use icons, typeface, and solid design principles to create a timeless seal that will last as long as your business. That's the goal - be timeless - not trendy, because trends change.

Graphic Design follows your logo everywhere it goes.

  • Campaigns

Campaigns can be seasonal promotions or last for years such as fund raising or building campaigns. In these situations you're going to need more than your logo and will want to create a rhythm with your audience to help them quickly identify with what you are conveying. A solid campaign will utilize all of the communications tools in your tool box, and may be the ideal time to stretch outside the typical avenues of communication.

  • Business Collateral

The basics of business branding are in email signatures, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and promo items. Get this right the first time to save time and money.

  • Packaging

No matter how small the product, thoughtful packaging can help elevate the customer experience and give a great first impression. It also helps tell the brand story.

  • Digital

Digital media can include content across social media, website, app, email, and advertising. The most iconic brands across all industries have consistent rhythm that customers have grown to know and expect what is coming. Simple or complex, that consistency becomes part of the visual brand associated with your business or product.

  • Signage & Layout

Print is NOT dead. Printed materials have potential to create an experience based on paper stock, coatings, textures, etc. In addition to the texture, the page layout should thoughtfully follow design principles to communicate quickly and beautifully. This includes book covers, table of contents, and even the glossary. Good design doesn't get in the way of delivering the message.

If you have a physical location - this should go without saying - you need a sign. Even though we develop digital experiences, there is something very rewarding about seeing something come from a concept developed on a computer to a tangible item in the real world.

  • Photography

Within the bag of tricks of solid graphic designers is to use photography to communicate more clearly. Photography works with the other elements of the design including text, illustrations, icons, etc.

Graphic Design has everything to do with visual consistency. Branding helps with the big picture.
